Bike & Sail Adventure
A Unique and Personal Way to Explore Puget Sound

The historic fishing schooner Olympic will be making weekly freighter stops at Puget Sound ports to trade farm products just like it was done a century ago. She will take a small number of passengers along for the ride. Guests can book passage either on daily runs between ports of call or cruise the entire six-day route. The Olympic will spend a day in each port after a three to five hour crossing.

There are numerous opportunities to combine a bicycle adventure with an experience on the sea. Whether guest choose to stay with the boat and just ride around local ports or use us for one leg of a more expansive journey, there is plenty of room on deck to stow bikes and kayaks. We can help you design the perfect "freighter vacation". There are hundreds of bicycle routes and destinations between the Olympic and Kitsap Peninsulas, Whidbey Island, Skagit Basin, and the San Juan Islands.

We are offering Bike & Sale Adventure Vouchers as a way to help raise money to finish the restoration work on the historic fishing schooner Olympic. You can purchase a voucher now and lock in your opportunity to experience a unique land and sea adventure while helping us preserve maritime heritage. The vouchers may be given as gifts too!

Rates start at $100 per passenger and include delicious local foods. Only six spots are available per trip so be sure to reserve your space early. Group reservations are available and shoreside overnight accommodations and campsites can be suggested when you book. The Olympic has crew-style bunk sleeping accommodations onboard for those who wish to experience the life of a merchant mariner.

The FarmBoat Floating Market aboard the Virginia V at Lake Union Park is closed due to City of Seattle adverse policies against small businesses. For more information, see "FarmBoat Under Siege."
