Meet the Providers

Our goal is to help make a real connection between you and the local food providers. We are working on developing an in-depth interview with each farmer, fishermen, and food producer in our network. We want to make it easy for you to know exactly where your food comes from, what nutritional value it has, how it it is produced and even the philosophies of its producers. Our aim is to provide far more information than an "organic certification" stamp. Our editorial staff will be busy over the next season getting the in-depth story on local food producers around the Puget Sound region.

The FarmBoat Floating Market aboard the Virginia V at Lake Union Park is closed due to City of Seattle adverse policies against small businesses. For more information, see "FarmBoat Under Siege."
