The FarmBoat Lake Union Floating Market is managed by the Urban Public Waterfront Association (UPWA.org)--a non-profit organization dedicated to connecting people with the maritime environment through water-centric events and activities.

Market Vendor Rate: We charge a flat rate of $40 per week to vendors who participate in our floating markets. The cost includes tables, online promotion and friendly service. We require a four week advance payment to get started and weekly payments thereafter. We select compatible vendors who sell products that are desirable to our upscale visitors. Upon review of your application, we will let you know if you are accepted within 48 hours. Previous farmers market experience is not required and we do consider unique quality products from outside the region.

Space Description: Spaces onboard the ship are not standard. There are sixteen 7’ x 7’ spaces in the main salon and eight spaces approximately 3’ x 10’ on the entry level (basically enough room for a 2’ x 6’ table and a couple chairs.) Additional spaces on the dock and shore may be available at some markets. Limited moorage may also be available for participating market vessels that fit within our guidelines.

Vendors must have applicable city, state and county health department licenses and/or permits to participate in the markets.

Payment: Upon acceptance, an initial payment of $160 will be due to cover your first four weeks at our market. You can pay $40 per week thereafter. Checks are to be made out to "UPWA" and mailed to:

7356 40th Ave. SW
Seattle, WA 98136

Alliteratively, you can request a PayPal invoice that will allow you to pay by credit card online. There is a $5.00 processing charge for online payments.
